Sep 2011 - Charitable Trust Bees Before Profit established.
Nov 2011 - Established links with tertiary education establishments such as Exeter University.
Dec 2011 - Agreed third year BSc and MSc projects that support the Trust's objects.
Mar 2012 - Entered into partnership with Trelowarren Estate; Sir Ferrers Vyvyan kindly provided two apiary sites and much encouragement!
Apr 2012 - Developed colonies and hives to support research projects.
Jun 2012 - First two MSc projects succesfully completed with some very encouraging results. We hope this will lead to further research of increased duration.
July 2012 - Entered into a partnership agreement with the National Trust who have kindly provided an opportunity to establish a remote queen rearing apiary.
Aug 2012 - Identified suitable research apiary sites.
Aug 2012 - First £5000 raised enabling charity status application to commence.
Sept 2012 - Bees Before Profit invited to Exeter University's MSc Showcase Day where Judy Allen presented her project findings, enabled through the charity, for which she was awarded a distinction.
Sept 2012 - Succesful registration of Bees Before Profit with the charity commission of England and Wales.
Oct 2012 - 4 further MSc project proposals developed and offered to Exeter University.
